XXII Forum Brazil-Europe 17/03/2015

EUBrasil Association emphasized during the XXII Forum Brazil-Europe organised by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation that Brazil and the European Union need to work together to increase trade and investment opportunities in both regions. The event was held on 17/03 at the Brazilian Congress, in Brasilia, with the participation of 25 European, Brazilian speakers and 200 delegates.

“The strategic partnership between the EU and Brazil is our ability to face the global challenges together”, said Ambassador Ana Paula Zacarias, head of the EU Delegation in Brazil, at the opening. She highlighted that the XXII Forum Brazil-Europe marks the beginning of the agenda of bilateral dialogues this year, which includes a meeting of the EU-Brazil Joint Committee, a series of dialogues on education, drugs, human rights and information society, as well a visit to Brazil of the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, scheduled for May and the VIII Brazil-EU Summit, in the second half of the year.
