Vice-president of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani MEP, joins EUBrasil

IT MEP since 1994, the Italian Antonio Tajani is a member of the Group of the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats) at the European Parliament (EP). First vice-president of the EP, Mr Tajani signed the term of membership of the Association EUBrasil at the end of October.

He is currently a member of the Delegation for Relations with Brazil, Delegation for Relations with Mercosur, Delegation to the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly and Committee on Industry, Research and Energy.

Two other Italian MEPs joined EUBrasil recently: Silvia Costa and Lorenzo Cesa.

Silvia Costa MEP, a member of the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, is president of the Committee on Culture and Education. She is also a member of the Conference of Committee Chairs and the Delegation of the EU-Albania Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee.

Lorenzo Cesa MEP is member of the Group of the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats) in the European Parliament. He is also a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly and Delegation to the EU-Armenia, EU-Azerbaijan and EU-Georgia Parliamentary Cooperation Committees.

Currently, 25 MEPs are members of EUBrasil.
