Capitanich praises bilateral trade deal with the Brazilian automobile industry

Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich praised an agreement reached over the weekend during talks with Brazil on Monday, saying that the discussions should reinforce bilateral trade between the two neighbours. He also praised the advancement in discussions towards a “common agenda” that should lead to the final agreement on a trade deal between Mercosur and the European Union (EU).

At his press briefing in Buenos Aires, Capitanich said that another result of his visit together with Economy Minister Axel Kicillof ot Brazil was a deal that will supply the Brazilian auto industry with spare parts made in Argentina. The Argentine delegation also held meetings with World Bank officials and approved a strategic plan for financing.
