60 REPRESENTATIVES OF BRAZILIAN AND EUROPEAN INDUSTRY AT THE “EU-BRAZIL BUSINESS DIALOGUE ON ENERGY” WITH RICARDO NEIVA TAVARES AND PHILIP LOWE
On December 14 at 7.45 p.m., at the European Parliament in Brussels, EUBrasil will host a dinner with guests Ricardo Neiva Tavares, Ambassador of Brazil to the EU and Philip Lowe Director General DG Energy, European Commission.
At the EUBrasil event will participate 60 selected representatives of Brazilian and European industry and Institutions. Among them representatives of BASF, BG Group, BP, BUSINESSEUROPE, CESI, CNI – National Confederation of Industry Brazil, DG Energy European Commission, DU PONT, EDISON, EDP Energias de Portugal, EEIP Energy Efficiency in Industrial Processes, E.ON, EMBRAER, ENDESA, ENEL, ENI, ePURE European Renewable Ethanol, EUROCHAMBRES, EUROPIA European Petroleum Industry Association, EREF European Renewable Energies Federation, ExxonMobile Petroleum & Chemical, GDF SUEZ, GE Energy, IBERDROLA, Novaguas, OGP International Association of Oil & Gas Producers, PETROBRAS, PHILIPS, SIEMENS, SHELL, Statoil, UNICA Brazilian Sugarcane Industry Association.
Energy is one of the most important items on the EU-Brazil agenda for the 21st century. By working together, Brazil and Europe could increase mutual security and prosperity; underpinning stable, reliable, and transparent global energy markets, and coordinating regulatory regimes and research programmes to speed up the deployment of tomorrow’s clean and efficient energy technologies. Cooperation between Europe and Brazil in this field will favour economic growth and job creation, and will advance the goals that have been set out to tackle climate change.
