On December 14, at the European Parliament in Brussels, EUBrasil will host a dinner with guests Ricardo Neiva Tavares, Brazilian Ambassador to the European Union, and Philip Lowe Director General DG Energy, European Commission.
Energy is one of the most important items on the EU-Brazil agenda for the 21st century. By working together, Brazil and Europe could increase mutual security and prosperity; underpinning stable, reliable, and transparent global energy markets, and coordinating regulatory regimes and research programmes to speed up the deployment of tomorrow’s clean and efficient energy technologies. Cooperation between Europe and Brazil in this field will favour economic growth and job creation, and will advance the goals that have been set out to tackle climate change.
